The international race Alpe Adria Jet Ski Tour brought to our Tihomir Kotarski the leading place in the overall standings in the GP3 class and the second place in the overall standings in the GP4 class.
The Podravina sea, i.e. Lake Šoderica, on May 25th and 26th was the epicenter of top Jet ski pilots who gathered on the occasion of the International Alpe Adria Jet Ski Tour. According to the results and impressions of our Tihomir Kotarski, there was no lack of adrenaline on Lake Koprivnica:
‘The second race of the Alpe Adria Jet Ski Tour on Lake Šoderica was full of challenges. Already on Friday, the problems with the jet started, so I used a new jet for Saturday’s races, which was not completed, and I changed the setup in every race. So in the GP3 class I reached 3rd place in both races, which means that I am currently leading in the championship standings after two races. In the GP4 class, I started the first race worse than the previous ones and finished only 4th, while in the second run I finished right behind the current world champion German Salobir in the second position and finished 3rd overall in the GP4 class. So after the second race in the overall standings, I finished second. ‘
This race is the second in a row as part of the Alpe Adria Jet Ski Tour. The first was ridden in Fažana from April 26th to 28th, where our driver of the APIOS Racing Team also ‘swam like a fish in jet ski waters’.
