Tihomir Kotarski celebrated on Alpe Adria jet ski tour

After last year’s excellent performance at the European Championships at the RSC Jarun, APIOS Racing Team member Tihomir Kotarski prepared another adrenaline spectacle. This time it’s about Alpe Adria jet ski tour that took place from 26 to 28 June at the attractive Jarun lake in Zagreb, where our jet ski ace reached two overall second places in GP3 and GP4 class.

Tight competition of ‘motorcycles on water’ gathered 140 competitors from 25 European countries, including neighboring countries and a large number of participants from Scandinavia. The main race was followed by a freestyle show providing spectators water stunts by the best European jet ski riders.

APIOS d.o.o. is richer for the prestigious certificate and medal  ‘Customers’ Friend’ by the international organization ICERTIAS – International Certification Association based in Zurich, Switzerland.

The Customers’ Friend certificate is a prestigious international recognition awarded exclusively to companies and organizations willing to commit to an exemplary relationship with their customers. In order to qualify for the ‘Customers’ Friend Gold Medal ’, organizations nominated under this program undergo a rigorous analysis process that includes a series of checks conducted by ICERTIAS.

As part of the analysis for Customers’ Friend certification, APIOS went through a detailed research and verification process by the international organization ICERTIAS, which is based on four main analytical ‘pillars’: 1. Reputation, 2. Communication and social networks 3. User experience and 4. Trust.

Each of these analyzed ‘pillars’ is divided into additional subgroups that are evaluated individually.

In an uncertain duel, our RK Arena Pula showed what the real energy means. They celebrated against the team from the Premier League RK Zamet, showing solid defense and great skills of the players.

APIOS supported the club ‘Moto sport Grip’ at the Croatian Motorcycle Acceleration Championship

Where there are promising athletes, there are A-Motion fuels that were a great ally to motorcyclist Antun Mikić, a member of the ‘Moto sport Grip’ club at the Croatian 402-meter motorcycle acceleration championship. He competed in the ‘600 series’ class and won the first place in the overall standings of the Croatian Championship, thus becoming the national champion in that class.

The championship was ridden in four disciplines or classes: 600 and pro 600 series (motorcycles up to 650ccm3) and open and pro open series (engines of 1000 and more cubic meters).

As he says, the championship is quite demanding because it consists of 8 races: the first in Brod, then one in Osijek, two in Grobnik, two in Goričan and, for the end of the season, two races in Osijek:

‘This year I competed on the Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R 636 motorcycle in the‘ 600 series ’class and I achieved a total of 6 placements in the top 3, i.e. two first places and four second places. In the other two races, where I finished fourth and seventh, the technical problem of the motorcycle prevented me from getting a better result’ said Antun Mikić.

The club ‘Moto sport Grip’ thus finished in third place in the overall standings for the Croatian championship.

“Nevertheless, I am very satisfied with what has been achieved and I would like to thank my club‘ Moto sport Grip ’and president Danijel Kljajić for the support, because without them nothing would be possible,’ concluded Mikić.

For the next year, the second motorcycle is planned, as well as the transition to the ‘open series’ class and re-winning the title of Croatian champion in the second class. Given that the club has only existed for a year and a half, this is a great result and just a confirmation that Slavonski Brod is a city of motorcycles and bikers who live and breathe every day for what they love.

APIOS at the European Junior Triathlon Cup

For the fifth time, Zagreb organized Europe’s largest gathering of young athletes in triathlon, the European Junior Triathlon Cup. As this is a top-level event that brings together more than 300 competitors, APIOS turned into a 6th gear as a proud sponsor of this event.

The European Cup on Zagreb lake is the result of exceptional cooperation of the Zagreb Triathlon Federation with the City of Zagreb, the City Office for Sports and Youth and the Sports and Recreation Center Jarun / Sports Facilities, which provided the necessary triathlon infrastructure on the lake to make this address suitable for national and international competitions. The competition was held under the patronage of the Mayor of the City of Zagreb Milan Bandić and the Central State Office for Sports.

APIOS celebrated its 10th birthday 

The 10th anniversary of the business underlines APIOS strategy in the long run. And the road was more than dynamic, from a garage to 22 gas stations, over 900 million kunas in annual revenue, 45 employees in the management of APIOS, about 250 people along with order recipients and employees.
